Description
FANUC Robotics’ PC File Services 2008 (PCFS 2008) provides an easy-to-use file management capability for FANUC robots. It allows you to back up and restore robot application files to a PC via Ethernet. PCFS 2008 uses File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to transfer robot programs, variable files, data files and system files to/from FANUC robots using a SYSTEM R-J2™ (V4.40) or later controller. Both manual transfers and automatic schedules are supported.

PRESSworks
Description
The PRESSworks operating system package is designed to optimize the performance, throughput, uptime and ease of use of a tandem press line. FANUC Robotics developed the supervisor, line controller and robotic software to focus on the specific needs of the press room. FANUC Robotics worked very closely with key first- and second-tier automotive plant and engineering personnel to develop the system control, error recovery, root cause analysis, system setup screens and operator interfaces. The control operating system, married with a FANUC Robotics robotic transfer system, can increase system uptime (manned yield) by 15 to 25 percent more than a traditional automation solution. This can increase net part throughput by thousands of part per year.
